Porcelain Lawns
Median is an investigation of the impersonal parcels of land used to mediate and control human movement through specific parts of a landscape. In the context of a lawn, grass is a comforting and nostalgic carpet; in a median, however, grass is merely a filler- easy to control, something to hold the dirt in place.
